fragments is an accumulative performance process where the group layers movement, sound, and mark making to build a textural landscape over the process of a day. This work was created and designed by anna thompson, taylor knight, Ru Emmons, David Bernabo, O'ryan the Omazing and Zena Ruiz. This work is designed for young audiences.
About the collaborators:
slowdanger, former F.I.N.E. Artists, is a multidisciplinary performance duo based in Pittsburgh, Pa composed of taylor knight and anna thompson. taylor and anna use performance as ritual practice to delve into patterns of the circular rhythm of life.
Ru Emmons is a Pittsburgh-based dancer and bodyworker. They use movement as a tool for social change and personal transformation and work with themes of queerness, living in a poison world, and apocalyptic alternatives.
David Bernabo is a filmmaker, musician, dancer, visual artist, and writer, performing with the bands Host Skull and How Things Are Made; devising dances with his variable dance company, MODULES; and often collaborating with Maree ReMalia | merrygogo.
